I’m going to assume you’re not from NY then. I’m curious as to who this is now lol.
My sister has a car, and each of my parents a car & since my sister and I are inseparable, we pretty much go out in hers together all the time when we are on Staten Island, (where I live)
But in Manhattan and Brooklyn, (where I usually am) you don’t really need a car. In fact it’s stupid to drive there which we do do sometimes and parking ends up costing us like 50$. I take an express bus to school and everyone in the city commutes. Having a car is not a necessity bc well, like I said, finding parking is near impossible. So it’s better off to walk, take a ferry, bus, train, subway, etc. you name it.
